POSTNATAL DOULA

PACKAGES

Postnatal Doula Support

Whether you book me for 20 hours, 24 hours or 40 hours I will create a beautifully healing space for you and baby to settle into during those first weeks together. Support includes:

  • Emotional support & birth story processing

  • Postnatal yoga & gentle movement

  • Reiki, crystal sound healing & meditation

  • Help with baby care, feeding, and household tasks

  • Homemade nourishing meals (or cooking in your home)

You will receive as much emotional support as you need, either through a specially curated ritual or a conversation over a cup of tea, I’m here for whatever arises and we will also make space to chat through your birth story.

Finding some movement together might just be the medicine you need to lift your energy and find some release; a gentle reconnection with your body can make the world of difference. As a qualified Postnatal Yoga teacher I will bring some movement into our sessions.

Or perhaps you need an afternoon on the sofa feeding baby or enjoying some skin to skin, we can incorporate some Reiki healing into this scenario to re-balance your energy and bring you a sense of peace. My gorgeous crystal sound bowls also offer a moment of calm, as does deep postnatal meditation techniques that I’ve specially designed for the fourth trimester.

I love to be in the kitchen, so if nourishing food is what you’re craving I’ll be there with my pink apron on! Healing ultimately starts from within and I have a menu of delicious postpartum, nutrient dense dishes that I can bring with me to sessions. Or, I can make your favourite meal ready for you to have for lunch or dinner that day, or maybe batch cook something divine that you can store into the freezer and reach for when you need it.

We can also spend time on feeding support, or I can take care of baby so that you can rest. I can also run errands or complete light household help.

Every journey begins with a Postnatal Discovery Session, where we explore your unique needs and wishes for support. From there, we can craft the right pathway together. This gives us a chance to meet and connect in person and to chat about the postpartum period and what you are excited about, what you are apprehensive about and how I might support you during this time. This would be held at your home so that I get a feel for where everything is so if I am to help you on a practical level with washing, cooking etc. I know where I might find what I need! This would last 90 minutes and is included in the hours outlined below.

What People Are Saying

“Sarah was my birth and postnatal doula for my second child and I wish I'd had her for my first! She is not only a wonderful person but an amazing doula. She provided invaluable support to myself and my husband. She kept me calm when things weren't going to plan and was there for emotional support when I needed it. She also provided a fantastic level of practical support, including cooking and joining me on those early postnatal walks round the block. My son had some complications and I ended up having a planned c-section. Sarah was fantastic at adapting her support as our needs changed and managed to keep us calm throughout a challenging time. Without Sarah I don't know how we would have got through the last few months and I will be forever grateful.”

— Charlotte

"I worked with Sarah after the birth of my identical twin boys, and she was exactly what I needed in my postnatal season, particularly after the postpartum doula I previously arranged fell through and I was recovering physically and mentally from a c-section on top of the twins having a prolonged hospital stay. Sarah was grounded, kind, and intuitively attuned to my needs. She brought nourishment, calm, expertise, and balance into the chaos of postpartum life. She made me deliciously healthy snacks, led Reiki and yoga sessions, breath work, safe stretching, and eagerly took on less glamorous tasks of baby support/bottle washing/errand running. Her emotional intelligence and holistic approach made me feel seen and supported on every level. I regret we weren't able to try one of her cacao rituals. She’s the kind of steady, heart-centred presence every new mother deserves. I would work with her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to others.”

— New Mama

“I recently worked with Sarah when preparing for the arrival of my second child after a traumatic first birth.

I was very anxious and was lost with how to prepare for the birth I wanted. Sarah supported me so much with understanding my options and gave me the tools to make informed decisions and birth plans that made me feel like I had some control. Sarah spent time going through each element with me and made me feel really held and understood. My birth went according to the plan we had made, I felt so informed and honestly had no trauma from this birth even when issues arose (these were anticipated).

Sarah is so warm, open and just so lovely, I highly recommend working with her to prepare for your birth or 4th trimester. She is truly a rock and a safe space when you’re feeling your most vulnerable and I know I wouldn’t have been so calm and confident if it wasn’t for her.”

— Hayley

"Sarah really held me in our post partum period. Our sessions enabled me to rest, have time for myself and rebalance myself to ensure I could be the best mum to my baby. She has left a permanent mark with the support she provided us and little reminders along the way. I felt so emotional at the end of our sessions as Sarah taught me so much about winding down, setting time for me, even with 2 children of her own while being pregnant. It was such a sacred time and I am eternally grateful.”
